The central body, reminiscent of a small chalet's architecture, is magnificently topped by a majestic deer head with branching antlers, an emblem of royalty and untamed nature. Every detail, from the oak leaves and acorns adorning the structure, to the crossed rifles and game birds, is reproduced with sculptural precision that enhances its three-dimensionality. The two small figures, probably a pair of hunters, animate the upper opening, while the three carved pinecones hang as weights.
The entire sculpture, with its imposing dimensions of 60 cm, is made from fine linden wood. This material is traditionally chosen in Val Gardena for large works due to its fine grain and excellent ability to render carved details. The burnished and polished finish enhances the natural warmth of the wood, transforming this clock into a timeless piece of furniture of unparalleled artisanal value.
