Contemporary Cuckoo Clock

This very nice contemporary quartz cuckoo clock, made in the Dolfi workshops from Val Gardena in South Tyrol, is more unique than rare. The resemblance to the little houses in the Black Forest is extraordinary. The automatic mechanism is powered by AA batteries easily found on the market and the movement, of very high precision, is added directly in Germany by specialized German clockmakers. The bird can be programmed to sound every hour or half hour, and is accompanied by 12 different melodies produced by the automatic sound mechanism. Typical and traditional is the shape of the porch, the balcony and the water bath that rotates at the sound of the music generated by the cuckoo, not to mention the woodcutter with his chickens that surround the fairy-tale landscape of this work of art.
