More info
This cuckoo clock depicts the woodcutter's cottage and every hour the farmer milks the cow and the mill wheel turns. The mechanical cuckoo clock works manually, i.e. by pulling the pendulum chains once a week, as it has an 8-day mechanism. The cuckoo comes out of its window singing every half hour and at each hour it sings the time. If it is 3 o'clock it sings 3 times, if it is 9 o'clock it sings 9 times, and so on. The cuckoo clock has an extremely durable mechanism for counting time. It is possible to turn the hands left and right without damaging the clock. The dimensions refer to the clock only, without pendulum and weights. Weight 13 kg Height 54 cm/21,3 inch Width 47 cm/18,5 inch, depth 30 cm/11,8 inch. The melodies change every hour between happy wanderer and edelweiss.
