St. Louis Gonzaga

This sculpture is made in maple wood and hand-painted with oil colours by our artists - you will see different sizes. The sculpture represents St. Louis of Gonzaga, an Italian religious. He is celebrated on 21 June and is depicted with a crucifix which refers to sacrifice and piety. Other attributes are the lily representing innocence, a rosary symbol of his religious faith and a skull for his early death.
