Saint Barbara carved in wood - brown shades

St Barbara is the patron saint of several categories of people and places. She is considered the patron saint of miners, artillerymen, military engineers, architects, firefighters and sailors. She is also the patron saint of several cities and towns around the world, including Santa Barbara, in California (USA), and Santa Barbara d'Oeste, in Brazil. Her feast day is celebrated on 4 December each year.
