According to tradition, she was an only child and since her adolescence she wanted to consecrate herself to God, but due to the insistence of her parents, she was given in marriage to a young man of good will but violent character. After the murder of her husband and the death of her two children, she suffered a great deal from the hatred of her relatives who, with Christian fortitude, she managed to reconcile.
